Hilary Rosen was on the right track but went off it…

She should have clarified her comments to indicate FINANCIALLY Ann is unrelateable to stay at home moms with side hustles- entrepreneurships and working moms who work outside of the home. Realistically not many women (who may not be middle to upper middle class, suburban and white) can relate to being a stay at home mom like Ann Romney in 2012. My mother was very blessed to be able to stay at home to raise me & my sister. Yet I know not many moms of color in 2012 HAVE THAT LUXURY YET SOME WOULD KILL FOR IT!! Ann Romney can’t speak on that stay at home aspect that isn’t relatable to many moms of color!! Ms. Rosen shouldn’t have had to apologize FOR SHIT!! SMDH
That is why I am soo glad I am no longer a registered Democrap! I get fed up of Dems PUNKING OUT AND CAVING IN!!

“What About Our Daughters” blogger is sadly nuts
Posted: January 22, 2012 Filed under: Black People, black women, redtails, what about our daughters | Tags: boycott, facebook, redtails, what about our daughters Leave a comment »I once in a while poked in on “What About Our Daughters” blog to read their POV on things. Recently the blogger or bloggers for that site have gone a bit nuts with requesting a boycott on the George Lucas flick on the Tusakgee Airmen “Redtails” because of it’s lack of black women in the movie. If you don’t believe me see the ranting and blogs for yourself. Check this link as well as this link.
When I called out the foolishness (on the blog’s Facebook page) on the boycott as well as “Pariah” is an option to also support the blogger for the site got downright nuts. She told me off because apparently (since I don’t regularly read the blog) she had posted on “Pariah” in the past and in a nutshell also stated:
You are such a passive aggressive coward. I’m going to see the 4:50 show of Pariah TODAY. It just got to the art house theater in town thank you very much and I already posted about it during its opening week. AND Pariah,Middle of Nowhere AND Joyfui Noise are all mentioned in Monday’s post so you can just go play in traffic. If you don’t like my editorial schedule, then go start your own blog. Do people really think guilt-based whiney handwringing work on me? No, they just annoy me because they mean you’re lazy and think I’m stupid.
This item right here this heifer posted on January 20 Facebook page KILLED ME SERIOUSLY:
If one more incredibly dumb Black woman rationalizes Black women being cut from this film because it was about the men, you’ll be banned. This page isn’t for you. You’re not welcome and on top of that, you’re incredibly dishonest. Watch the video. You weren’t in the movie because the actors and the directors think Black women are backwards and White women represent progress. THEY SAID IT!
So I wrote a colorful letter explaining the insanity of their boycott, how it is unfortunate that different points of view aren’t respected by you, sorry that I have a life and don’t find it a need to be on your blog ad naseum to know what the hell you talk about. Also I stated please be prepared moving forward since you blocked me from your Facebook page to be put on BLAST for your stank behavior! Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately) I didn’t get to tell this bitch I already have a blog (going on year 3 February 14th I might add) that I do and that she would be the PROUD recipient of my latest rant!
So yes I am NOW putting “What About Our Daughters” a site which I had previous had on blogroll (and THANKFULLY DELETED) ON BLAST FOR THEIR DISRESPECT OF ME!! I AM THROUGH SUPPORTING FOOLISH INSANE ANGRY BLACK WOMEN BLOGGER(S) like ones on “What About Our Daughters”! Which is sad because some of the things I saw on their site I agreed with for the most part currently and in the past. But to go ape shit crazy over a movie with lack of black women in it seems waaay out there to me. But alas the blogger on this page seems to also take up personal disdain with black women & black men who are involved with folks outside their race as well. Too bad I couldn’t have addressed with angry black woman were you this PO’d on the movie “Glory” that had very few if any black women in that cast and that was also based on historical perspective albeit with some dramatization? I MEAN REALLY!!
But again the blogger for this site will be blasted any chance I can get to do it on their insanely disrespect and lack of ability to dialog with differing opinions in an adult manner! Some nerve to call your blog “What About Our Daughters” and yet showcase to younger women childish behavior towards other black women you disagree with! In my opinion acting EXACTLY LIKE THE ANGRY BLACK BITCH STEREOTYPE you detest soo much on your blog that you are “Unapologetic, Uncompromising, and Unbowed in Defense of Black Women and Girls” on. I make NO APOLOGIES & HOLD NOTHING BACK FOR CALLING THE BLOGGER of “What About Our Daughters” an Angry Black Bitch (with too many countless personal issues vented about on the blog and over analyzing on in my view) lacking the ability to dialog with differing POVs in an adult manner!! Perhaps the blogger for this page needs to seek some counseling sessions for her personal issues she seems to be going thru that she is manifesting her hatred on by lashing out at strangers online towards! I can honestly recommend this expert for the blogger to consult with.
Really Sunshine GET SOME COUNSELING!!
How I feel about the movie “The Help”
Posted: August 12, 2011 Filed under: Black People, black women, civil rights, Entertainment 411, lawrence o'donell, melissa harris-perry, Movies, MSNBC, the help, Women Rule!!! | Tags: black women, civil rights era, lawrence o'donnell, maid, melissa harris-perry, movie, msnbc, the help, the last word, the south, white women Leave a comment »Shout out to Professor Melissa Harris Perry on the August 10, 2011 segment The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell summing up to the T my thoughts on this flick. I have no desire to see this movie! I keep wondering is there a middle ground to work with for images of positive regular black women to be shown on screen that falls somewhere between historical aspect of the black women on “The Help” and current tv images of black women on Basketball Wives, Real Housewives ATL and Single Ladies! That’s all I ask!!
I truly respect the history it portrays of black women being maids and taking care of the white families in the south during the era where that was the main job for them. But it isn’t a history that is painted as happy go luck either during Jim Crow era especially! I truly get sick and tired of pandering movies like this that are those “feel good flicks” with happy ending and it’s mixed with a historical timeframe in which it wasn’t really all to the good the lives of black women back then. But I digress. Please listen to what Professor Harris-Perry says!
I am also soo glad to read posts such as Armond White’s review and this one from Jack & Jill Politics that support my views as well!! Included with one of the posts is a letter from the Association of Black Woman Historians!
Right on Gloria Steinem

But Gloria Steinem sista I respect you completely on your outlook on these conservative women and your thoughts on them which I agree with 1000%!! A MUST READ INDEED!!
Someone needs to remind those Lipstick Bigoted Bitches (again I am not a feminist and I have no love for them so I don’t care if it offends) if it wasn’t for the traditional white women’s movement making waves in the late 60′s and 70′s (when both women were roughly in their teens if I am not mistaken) their white asses would still be home baking cookies, regularly praising the Lord (as a fake Christian) and being happy go lucky white women in white suburbia (in the case of Batshit Bachmann). In the case of Queen Snowbilly Bitch she still would be at home hunting moose, making moose stew and moose burgers and popping out babies.
Letter to NOW in Defense of Batshit Bachmann
Posted: August 9, 2011 Filed under: conservatives, michelle bachmann, now, racial hypocrisy, racism, Rethugican characters, rush limbaugh, sean hannity, sexism, Women Rule!!! | Tags: conservative women, feminism, michele bachmann, national organization for women, NOW, sexism Leave a comment »I am emailing you all to express disappointment in your organization’s defense of GOP Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann. I truly believe because your group didn’t come to such defense of equally divisive and polarizing Sarah Palin and faced the wrath of right wingers this is the reason your group making up for lost time.
This is on your OWN site about what NOW pertains to:
Since its founding in 1966, NOW’s goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women. NOW works to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society; secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women; end all forms of violence against women; eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and promote equality and justice in our society.
Yet NOW is defending this BIGOTED HOMOPHOBE who stands up for NONE OF THE THINGS YOUR ORGANIZATION IS ABOUT!! She’s not for women’s reproductive rights, she’s not for gay rights, she’s anti-abortion, she is very old school traditional family values, she stands by her ignorance of black history and is sadly the worst example of a Christian. I never thought much of NOW but I at least expected your organization to at least adhere to your own legacy what you are about. Does the President of NOW or the staffers not use GOOGLE or go on Youtube to see a history of the divisive language and racially offensive and homophobic comments this woman has made within the last 5-6 years and even moreso before she became a national figure? If this was just a conservative women in general that was treated wrongfuly who didn’t have a history of offensive comments towards groups I can understand your defense of her. This woman even disrespected the First Lady when the First Lady advised more women to breast feed their babies more. Considering Bachmann has 5 kids and has probably done the same you would think she wouldn’t be partisian about such a comment. Yet Bachmann did attack it and came on the offense about it from a government is Nannystate aspect! Alas I have NEVER EVER seen NOW take a stand against any of the disrespect First Lady Michele Obama has received in the last 3 years (at the same timeframe you all came in defense of attacks against Hilary Clinton during the ’08 campaign period)!!
I find it sad and laughable at the same time of you defending someone like Bachmann to pacify the right wingers. Yet sexist right wingers like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (Hannity by the way defends viagra being ok for medical reasons to be covered by government but is against government tax dollars for birth control) will never change how they disrespect women who aren’t of a conservative perspective like Palin and Bachmann. They will just continue to whine on the unfair treatment of bigoted women like them! Someone on Fox news recently was offended that the healthcare reform will cover women for domestic violence counseling and equated that to the equivalent to government covering for manicures and pedicures. But alas where is NOW to address this nonsense and speak out on it’s offensive nature?
I am not a member of NOW. I will advise other women to also not be a member. I will be posting on my blog and my Facebook page my email to NOW and urging women to not have anything to do with this organization.
In good conscious I can’t support or take NOW seriously AT ALL because of your recent stance! What a joke you all are now!!
Really Summer’s Eve? My Black Va JayJay is sassy talking & club hopping after using your feminine cloths? SMDH
Posted: July 23, 2011 Filed under: black women, Feminine products, summer's eve, Women Rule!!! | Tags: black women, feminine products, hispanic women, summer's eve, tv ad, vagina, white women Leave a comment »UPDATE: SUMMER’S EVE HAVE REMOVED THE ADS FOR AIRING AFTER MUCH COMPLAINTS OVER THEM!! SO BEING A BITCH TO A COMPANY HAS IT’S ADVANTAGES FOR GOOD!!
What say you about this supposedly hip and trendy Summer’s Eve ad that is part of their “Hail To the V” campaign? They have ads representing a black woman, white woman and hispanic woman’s vagina in the shape of a closed hand yakking. Why is a vagina talking first and formost?
Well as I do I took to writing Summer’s Eve being that I have been using their products and wrote to them my disappointment in lack of possibly screening the ad to hmm perhaps Summer’s Eve consumers? This is what I wrote to them:
I am a black woman who has been a regular user of your products since Lord knows when. Saw one of your recent ads on the internet. Why must a vagina be talking? Furthermore when is it ok to make a black woman voice over be a sassy talking vagina? I see the hispanic one had her be exaggerated and stereotyped as well. I notice in the white woman voice over ad she didn’t sound exaggerated and have any showcasing of ways to sound stereotypical. But it was ok for the black woman’s & hispanic ad had it be ok to be sassy? Umm not acceptable Summer’s Eve. Umm can you just stick to your regular commericials that don’t involve vagina’s talking like a closed up hand and just have women talking and ACTUALLY SAYING THE WORD VAGINA?? I mean it is 2011 and I think it is OK FOR WOMEN TO SAY THE WORD IN A COMMERICIAL! Not just say “down there” as they did in the old school feminine product ads!! Did U guys even bother to test the ad out to a group of female consumers of various ethnicities to get their take on it? I think that would have been best to do. It is unfortunate but other than the products of yours I do have that are already purchased and in my bathroom, I would have to consider paying more money and using a competitor’s feminine cloths moving forward. If you feel that all I am as a black female consumer is one who has a sassy talking vagina that this is a consumer who doesn’t need to use your products anymore!! What a shame too!

But rest assured you will have a blessed marriage that will be royal with God looking out for you and your new husband in your trials and tribulations and it will be with NO MEDIA SCRUTINY like those two young royals will be under!! I much rather have a blessing under God than be under any media lights and glares with their nonsense!!
That is my wish for myself and my wish for all black women on this Food for Thought!!! :>)
