A white woman from Bethesda, MD goes missing in Aruba (ala Natalie Holloway) and national media of Today and GMA cover it. Young black girl Phylicia Barnes missing in Baltimore, MD was hard as hell to get missing news coverage on her nationally! SMDH
Baltimore City police on Tom Joyner morning show during the timeframe Barnes was considered missing talked about the difficulty & frustration for her status to be covered on a national level. But alas if you look like a Playboy centerfold with big boob, ugly tats and blonde hair you get coverage on your missing status ASAP! That is such a slap in the face to the family of Phylicia Barnes to me and the other missing people of color whose stories don’t get told because they don’t have the appealing look and the managers of the newsrooms don’t get the unfairness they showcase on missing story coverage! I really don’t care the attacks my comments get either! Because all I can say is screw you those whining about race once again being addressed and you’re sick of it!!

I truly believe because your group didn’t come to such defense of equally divisive and polarizing Sarah Palin and faced the wrath of right wingers this is the reason your group making up for lost time.

NOW works to eliminate discrimination and harassment in the workplace, schools, the justice system, and all other sectors of society; secure abortion, birth control and reproductive rights for all women; end all forms of violence against women; eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and promote equality and justice in our society.
Yet NOW is defending this BIGOTED HOMOPHOBE who stands up for NONE OF THE THINGS YOUR ORGANIZATION IS ABOUT!! She’s not for women’s reproductive rights, she’s not for gay rights, she’s anti-abortion, she is very old school traditional family values, she stands by her ignorance of black history and is sadly the worst example of a Christian. I never thought much of NOW but I at least expected your organization to at least adhere to your own legacy what you are about. Does the President of NOW or the staffers not use GOOGLE or go on Youtube to see a history of the divisive language and racially offensive and homophobic comments this woman has made within the last 5-6 years and even moreso before she became a national figure? If this was just a conservative women in general that was treated wrongfuly who didn’t have a history of offensive comments towards groups I can understand your defense of her. This woman even disrespected the First Lady when the First Lady advised more women to breast feed their babies more. Considering Bachmann has 5 kids and has probably done the same you would think she wouldn’t be partisian about such a comment. Yet Bachmann did attack it and came on the offense about it from a government is Nannystate aspect! Alas I have NEVER EVER seen NOW take a stand against any of the disrespect First Lady Michele Obama has received in the last 3 years (at the same timeframe you all came in defense of attacks against Hilary Clinton during the ’08 campaign period)!!
I find it sad and laughable at the same time of you defending someone like Bachmann to pacify the right wingers. Yet sexist right wingers like Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity (Hannity by the way defends viagra being ok for medical reasons to be covered by government but is against government tax dollars for birth control) will never change how they disrespect women who aren’t of a conservative perspective like Palin and Bachmann. They will just continue to whine on the unfair treatment of bigoted women like them! Someone on Fox news recently was offended that the healthcare reform will cover women for domestic violence counseling and equated that to the equivalent to government covering for manicures and pedicures. But alas where is NOW to address this nonsense and speak out on it’s offensive nature?
I am not a member of NOW. I will advise other women to also not be a member. I will be posting on my blog and my Facebook page my email to NOW and urging women to not have anything to do with this organization.
In good conscious I can’t support or take NOW seriously AT ALL because of your recent stance! What a joke you all are now!!

The Friday was making me gag with all the yakkity yak over it and I was soooooo over it. Yet I happen to have seen this post a Facebook friend posted on her page that peeked my interest to check out on Battinto Batts’s commentary on it.
I wonder why there isn’t any media outrage and flack of the unprofessionalism of the Cavs owner and his letter he wrote. He came off like atypical angry white male slavemaster brat who didn’t get his way and . in full bitching mode about it. I am quite sure if Lebron behaved like him the media would have been running non stop about his behavior. But hell Lebron’s behavior with his (in the words of a great Marvin Gaye Song) “Ego Trippin Out” 1 hour special wasn’t really any better if you ask me. If you think about it Lebron’s behavior and manner of ego stroking is atypical of what the media outlets expect of athletes, especially black ones. Perhaps they don’t mind if the white owner acts the way he does either because that would be the norm for him and not as heavily scrutinized!

I refer to what Queen Sarah wrote on her hand as her “Redneck Palm Pilot” and that her ass is/was too ignorant to obtain a package of post-it notes or notecards to write stuff down. I mean damn to have all that money from that BS ghost written book & other BS speaking engagements to not at least buy post it notes or notecards at the Walmart, Target, Kmart or whatever the hell else store is in that area nearby the Teabagger/Klan Rally convention. That makes no sense to me. Queenie that’s what a GROWN ASS PROFESSIONAL WOMAN DOES if she is in the limelight, not take cues from her kids on how they ace their tests in school (I know that education thingy isn’t a big thing in her household 
). If she got media flack for having post-it notes or notecards I would have at least defended her in that light and said hey, at least she didn’t write on her hand and brought notecards/post its to help her out!! That would have been hard for me to do of defending her ass in that light since I don’t care for her but objectively that would have made sense.
It’s too bad Queenie can’t STFU about the President’s use of the teleprompter and people like her boyfriend Klannity are too stupid to realize how hypocritical these sorry fools sound!!! I am sorry but this is SUCH an insult to women of this broad dwelling in her ignorance. I am by no means a feminist. But I am passionate about women’s issues and look at those issues from a gender perceptive and from a black woman perspective. It’s sad to see why women in our modern 21st century society (with various mixed messages and symbols) have it hard to be taken seriously because trick ass bitches like this one do folksy cutesy unprofessional stuff and find it acceptable. Even another woman writes a commentary on how tacky and unprofessional that was. A black woman doing the same exact thing would be called everything but a child of God for how tacky that was by the media outlets and go thru the Michelle Obama crucification and disrespectfulness.
As long as there are mostly white Anti-Obama groups of ignorant anti-intellectual snobs, conservative women, rednecks, teabaggers, birthers, Fixed news, horny dog conservative men with school boy crushes (like her boyfriend Klannity) and their conservatives of color sympathizing friends, this bitch will forever get passes, get excuses made for her and have those groups circle the wagons for her sorry, ignorant, White Privilege ass. I just truly love this segment and how Lipstick Bigoted Bitch Malkin and Klannity play the “people like us and Fox news” are the poor victims being attacked with our news coverage that isn’t like the others (yet too stupid to realize that eeks you truly are Mainstream Conservative Media and not really no damn news outsiders) and attacked for what we say that doesn’t praise Obama. There has not been this much fascination of a black man with white women ironically enough since O.J. circa 1994!! In all honestly Tiger’s wife and children are the only ones he owes a genuine &heartful apology to. With that being said by me it is rather fascinating to me the over interest and intrigue by self righteous folks on the Woods drama and all of those hos coming out the woodwork. Klannity’s show on 12/10 was a hoot, watching the likes of Kimberly Guilfoyle and S.E. Cupp (aka to me ”The self righteous, snotty ass, sorority bitches”) and Klannity perched on their self righteous, right wing, holier than thou, my shit don’t stink tip judging the “transgressions” of Woods and whatnot. Hell S.E. actually wasted time writing a damn OP-ED piece on it for NY Daily News. Yet if you look at Ms. Guilfoyle and Ms. Cupp, they themselves give off sexualized imagery. ESPECIALLY Ms. Cupp (with her librarian glasses) you can obviously see this conflicting come hither, soft core porn ,sex kitten imagery vibe with her closet superfreak ass she gives off her damn self (while perched on her morally self righteous talking points tip) which would have probably even turned on Tiger Woods. Hell both Cupp and Guilfoyle looks wise are similiar to the hos Tiger pursued if you ask me!!
Can someone tell me where the hell was Klannity about these “teachable moments about morality” shit when his homeboys Mark Sanford and John Ensign were having their affairs being busted wide open? I watched his shows around those times and I didn’t see him going into much talk except for his panel segment and not for long talking about his homeboys’ wrongdoing!! It looked to me it was a bit painful to talk about that and he didn’t want to talk for long on it just mention it briefly and then go back to his hateration for all things Obama chatter!!!
But to see Klannity and these two bitches acting as though their shit doesn’t stink, that they have never done any wrong in their lives that they now look back with regret and to be soo damn fixated over Tiger’s wrong doing (again that he doesn’t owe anyone an apology to but to his wife) boggles my mind. I saw these parents on 9/25 Today Show in regards to the disappearance of Mitrice Richardson. I do pray she is found and is safe but I am concerned with some of the things her parents did say of her not being “street smart” and perhaps not stating of any friends, associates or acquaintances of hers or anyone in her beauty pageant circle that knew of her whereabouts.
Although I doubt it I do hope that this starts more media coverage of missing people of color SHOWCASED WITH MORE FREQUENCY ON NATIONAL MORNING NEWS OUTLETS AND JUST PLAIN NATIONAL TV NEWS PERIOD!!!
