Notorious The Movie

I went and plunked my $1 on a Redbox copy of Notorious which is about the life and short lived rap career of Notorious BIG (aka Biggie Smalls and Christopher Wallace). Strange enough I was surprised that the movie on his life was 2 hrs long. If you are fan of his music and how hip hop was circa early to mid 90′s (before it got ridiculously crazy commericial and even more shallow)you will forget the timeframe of the movie and really be into it. If hip hop in all honesty isn’t your cup of tea you may not be into the movie. The movie starts on the night of his death and has the actor portraying him talking about his life from his early years right up until he left out of the museum CD promotional party.

I have to admit after the deaths of Biggie and Tupac I really started to not be into much hip hop afterwards because it was getting ridiculous of people getting shot over such bullshit as this supposed East & West Coast stuff. Sad to say in the over a decade since both of their deaths not much has changed in hip hop evolving which is sad.
