Please take the time to sign the petition on the Change.org site and pass it on to others. Although not as heavily shown in mainstream media as their white counterparts due to the people who control the newsrooms & what they deem newsworthy & can garner sympathy from Middle America, when people of color go missing, their families are hurt too!!!!

I saw these parents on 9/25 Today Show in regards to the disappearance of Mitrice Richardson. I do pray she is found and is safe but I am concerned with some of the things her parents did say of her not being “street smart” and perhaps not stating of any friends, associates or acquaintances of hers or anyone in her beauty pageant circle that knew of her whereabouts.
Although I doubt it I do hope that this starts more media coverage of missing people of color SHOWCASED WITH MORE FREQUENCY ON NATIONAL MORNING NEWS OUTLETS AND JUST PLAIN NATIONAL TV NEWS PERIOD!!!
